Established in 2005, the Peptide Therapeutics Symposium is an annual meeting that brings together world leaders in peptide research from academia and the biopharmaceutical industry. With its unique focus and format, the symposium provides participants with a yearly update on the most recent and exciting developments in the peptide field.

Please join us for the 6th Annual Peptide Therapeutics Symposium taking place October 20th and 21st, 2011 at the Salk Institute in La Jolla, California. This year's symposium will highlight new peptide therapeutics and explore novel peptide drug discovery efforts that may lead to the next generation of peptide drugs with particular focus on peptide transport.

The Symposium will begin with an opening lecture, followed by an interactive panel discussion “What's driving R&D funding today.” Distinguished lectures and information exchange that have been hallmarks of the previous five events will continue throughout the day on Thursday. This year’s program of outstanding lectures will be enhanced by a select number of poster presentations which will be featured during the Opening Reception and remain available for viewing until the Symposium concludes.
